Probate Record of Robert E. Sallee, Warren Co, 1865:

Oct 14, 1865, Robertís brother Joseph R. Sallee, filed a petition to the judge of Warren Co. stating that on the 23rd of Sept 1865 Robert E. Sallee died in the county of Warren. He stated that he knew of no will, testament, codicil, or other writings relating to the disposal of Robertís estate has been found or discovered. Robertís personal estate consisted mostly of horses, cattle, hop, grain, hay, household and kitchen furniture estimated to be about $1000.00

Joseph, being administrator of Robertís estate put up a bond of $2000.00 to the court. He signed and sealed himself as Principal and by Joseph Washington Adcock and Robertís brother, Phillip M. Sallee as security.

This document was for the approval of Joseph R. Sallee to be administrator of Robertís estate.
