Drowned — On the night of the 28th, from the steamer St. Patrick, at the NA Wharf, Martin Dowd, of Louisville, supposed to have a black round-about, about 5 feet 4 inches in height, blind of one eye. Any information that may lead to the recovery of his body, will be thankfully received, by his widow, living on Water street, between Eighth and Ninth sts., Louisville.

Coroner’s Inquest — An inquest was held on the 28th inst., on the body of Martin Dowd, found drowned in the Ohio river at New Albany, Indiana. Verdict of the jury: Came to his death by falling from the Steamer St. Patrick late the Ohio River.
