Desperately seeking information on Jesse Mae POTTER Hobson. I have no birth dates or death dates, but she would have been born around 1885 - 1890. She married William Edwin Hobson and they had five children (Anna Lee, Garland, Potter, Graham, and Raymond). I have the Marriage Return for my husband, John Lamb's, great grandfather, EDWARD LAMB. I also have a copy of his Marriage Certificate which lists his name as both EDMUND LAMB and EDWARD LAMB. Edward was 23 years old on August 12, 1888 when he married Emma Tipps in Canton, Washington County, Indiana. It lists his county of birth as Floyd County, Indiana. His father is listed as LEWIS LAMB and his mother as CHRISTINA LIBBY. I have reviewed the extensive geneology at the Floyd County Library several years old and a file on a Mary Lamb, but was unable to find a connection for Edward. The Lambs also appear to have move to Champaign, Illinois as some point because Edward's son, John H. Lamb, was born there.

Floyd Co October 1st 1996 I am trying to locate my ggrandfather who appears in the 1860, ward 2 census for Floyd Co. His name was Michael Buntzman, his wife was Lona or Lonia and his children were: Barbara, Michael, Eve, Emma, and John. I am trying to locate birth info on the last three children and death records for the parents Michael and Lona. The last name may have been spelled Bunzmann or Bunsman or Bunchman. In 1870 all five children appear in the Metropolis City Illinois census. I think the trail of migration was called the Buffalo Trace Trail that lead them to south central Illinois then to southern Illinois. Are there any records of people who migrated on this trail? Your help would be really appreciated, I have been searching for a long time to find this information.
