John F. Lopp died Tuesday at his home on Vincennes street, near the Charlestown road, aged 21 years.

Dr. Joseph Ellis, of Bradford, Harrison county, died at his home in that town on the 27th inst., aged 58 years. He was widely known as a successful and skilled physician.

Mrs. Anna Borkenheim, an old resident of the city, and a lady greatly esteemed by her many acquaintances, died at 8 o’clock Saturday morning at her home on west Seventh and Elm streets. Her age was 83 years.

The funeral of the late James Dempster took place from Mt. Tabor church Sunday at 2:30 o’clock and was one of the largest ever seen in Floyd county outside the city. Not only the church but the entire yard was filled with people.

The wife of Mr. John Plotz, sen., the coal dealer died on Sunday night, at the family residence, 81 West Ninth street, of cancer, after a long illness. Deceased was a most estimable lady and a devoted wife and mother. She leaves a large family.
