Friday, 12 March 1937 Lee County Man Held In Wisconsin On Murder Charge
Madison, Wis., March 11 A man identified by Sheriff Charles Blount of Lee County, Kentucky, as Arthur Angel, 32, of Evelyn, Ky., under indictment on a murder charge, was arrested here today. Sheriff Blount and Marshal A. J. Taff of the village of Maple Bluff took the man into custody. The officiers said he had been living at the home of a cousin since last August. The Kentucky Sheriff said Angel and his brother, Nelson Angel, were indicted in Lee County for the murder of Duval Plowman last year. Nelson Angel, the Sheriff said, is in jail at Beattyville, Ky. Sheriff Blount said he planned to return the prisoner to Kentucky immediately. |
