Thursday, 7 August 1952The body of a man missing since sometime last week, according to reports which are not altogether reliable, was found alongside the railroad tracks near Texola, Saturday afternoon by a group of searchers who were looking for him. The man was Oscar Keith, 68, and details concerning the incidents of his disappearance and death are obscure.

After Keith's body was located, it was taken to Irvine, and placed in charge of the undertakers there. It is understood that an inquest was held by the Estill county coroner but findings of that court is not known.
