Will of James H. Malear
In The Name of God, Amen:
I, James H. MALEAR, of Beattyville, Lee County, Kentucky, being of sound mind and disposing memory and realizing the uncertainty of this mortal life, do make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, in the manner and form as follows, hereby revoking all wills heretofore made my [sic] me. Item I. I desire all my just debts and funeral expenses paid as soon as practicable after my death. Item II. I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Belle MALEAR, all of my property and estate of every kind and character real, personal, and mixed, Wheresoever situate, absolutely and if fee simple forever. Item III. I hereby nominate my beloved wife, Belle MALEAR, as Executrix of this my last will and testament and request that bond be not required of her. Insofar as same may be legally done, I bequest that no inventory and appraisement of my estate be made or required. In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name in Beattyville, Kentucky this the 1st day of July 1942. James H. MALAR Signed by James H.
