Will of Kenaz F. Hargis
In the name of God, Amen!
I, Kenaz F. HARGIS, of Proctor, Lee County, Kentucky being of sound mind and disposing memory, but physically weak, do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say:
First: It is my will and desire that all my just debts and my funeral expences be paid, and that the debts due and owing to me be collected, and applied to the payment of my debts and funeral expenses.
Second: I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Elizabeth HARGIS, all my real and personal estate of every kind and descriptioni, now owed by me or to which I may be entitled at the time of my death, and I hereby direct my Executer herein after named to collect the debt due me and to procure and obtain the interest to which I am entitled in the estate real and personal of my father, John HARGIS, deceased, and to dispose of it for the benefit of my Said wife, Elizabeth, or deliver it or the proceeds thereof to her as may be best for her interest and welfare. I have given to my said executer herein named a list of debts due to me, and of debts which I owe that I wish him to collect and pay off.
Third: I hereby nominate and appoint my nephew, C. B. HILL, the executer of this my last will and testament, and I desire that he be permitted to qualify without giving bond; and I hereby revoke all other and former wills and testaments by me made. In testimony whereof I have hereunto Subscribed my name, This 1st day of August, 1888

An instrument purporting to be the last will and testament of Kenaz F. HARGIS, deceased, was this day produced an court and filed, and proved by the oaths of Jonathan FARLEY and William HALL, the two subscribing witnesses thereto and it is ordered that the same be, and is hereby established as the last will and testament of Said decedent and as such duly admitted to record.

I, C. B. HILL, Clerk of the Lee County Court, certify that the foregoing instrument of writing and the copy of the order of court allowing Same as the last will and testament of Kenaz F. HARGIS, deceased, and this certificate have been this day duly recorded in my office, in accordance with Said Order of probate. Given under my hand this the 10th day of Octobert 1888
