1.  To my son, Logan THOMAS, Junior, I bequeath my farm near the mouth of the Middle Fork of the Kentucky River and being the same farm on which I now reside at this time.

2.  To my widow, Alice THOMAS, I bequeath the remainder of my estate both real and personal

3.  I hereby name my widow, Alice THOMAS, executrix of my will and request the probate court to name her as guardian of my son during his minority.  I hereby waive appraisal and inventory of my estate, bond of both executrix and guardian and settlement of the executrix and guardian.

I, Elizabeth MATTOCKS Clerk Lee County Court do hereby certify that the foregoing Will of Logan THOMAS, deceased, was on the 22nd day of February 1939, produced in open Court and proven by the testimonies of C. BEACH and J. H. EVANS, the two subscribing witnesses thereto, and said instrument was declared to be the last Will and testament of said Logan THOMAS, deceased;  whereupon the same with the foregoing and this my certificate have been duly recorded in my said office in Will Book No. 1, page 399.
