Will of William Wyatt

I, William WYATT, of Willow, Lee County Kentucky, being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, that is to say:

First:  After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged and the expenses of my burial paid, I give and bequeath unto my children, George W. WYATT, Gillie Ann MCQUEEN, wife of William MCQUEEN, Pharina SEBASTIAN, widow of John SEBASTIAN deceased, Susan HORN, wife of Thomas HORN, and May Ellen NEWTON, wife of William NEWTON, each the sum of One Dollar.

Second:  I give and bequeath all the remainder of my property, both real and personal, consisting of my home farm upon which my wife and myself reside near Willow, Lee County, Kentucky, and containing about one hundred and fifty acres, and also my household and kitchen furniture, moneys and chattels and ?cheses in action, and all my property of every kind and character, to my dearly beloved wife, Jemima WYATT, for the term of her natural life, and at her death, all my said property shall go to my above named children.

Third:  I hereby appoint my wife, Jemima WYATT, to be executrix of this my last Will and Testament, and request that she be allowed to qualify as such without being required to give or execute any bond as such and I hereby revoke, all wills by me heretofore made.

In witness whereof I ahve hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, the twenty sixth day of August in the year of our Lord, one thousand, nine hundred and eight.

The above written instrument was subscribed by the said William WYATT in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of us and he at the same time declared the above instrument so subscribed to be his last Will and Testament and we at this request have signed our names as witnesses hereto in his presence and in the presence of each other and written opposite our names our respective places of residence, this the 26th day of August 1908

I, W. O. BRADLEY, Clerk of the Lee County Court certify that the foregoing Will and Testament of William WYATT, deceased, was filed in my office on the 14th day of May, 1923 and ordered to lay over thirty days for exceptions and none having been taken Same was ordered to record at the Regular June 11th Term 1923, which is now done accordingly.
