Bascum Osborne Dies January 22 

Bascum OSBORNE, age 60 years, died at his home near St. Helens Saturday morning, January 22, of heart trouble. 

He was born in Owsley county on Fish Creek, Mary 6 1877. He was first married to Miss Emma SEALE and three children were born to this union. Willie of Newport, survives him. After the death of his first wife, on July 16, 1912, he was married to Miss Flora COLE. To this union nine children were born. His widow and seven children survive him: Bertha, age 21; Roscoe, age 19; Bert and Sissel, 15; Walker, 11; Lena, 8; and Henry, 5. 

He was the last of the six children of Andrew and America MOORE Osborne. He joined the Methodist Church in Owsley county when a young man.
