James MOORE Succumbs
Mr. James MOORE of Booneville passed away on October 24, 1940, at the age of 67 years. The funeral was preached by Rev. R.G. McCLURE, of Cow Creek and Rev. A.C. WILDMAN of Booneville, on October 25th. Burial was in the Brandenburg cemetery.
Mr. Moore is survived by his brother, John MOORE, Cow Creek; by six daughters, Mrs. Jas. LYNCH, Booneville; Mrs. Roy DUFFETT, Cincinnati; Miss Laura MOORE, Booneville; and Mrs. Denny DENNIS, Cincinnati; by two sons, Lewis and Fred, Newport, and by eleven grandchildren.
Note: Though the above obituary states Mr. Moore is survived by six daughters, only four is listed.
