W. Shepherd Services Held At Booneville

Services for Wayne SHEPHERD, 76, were held at the Booneville Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, January 6, by Rev. J. H. BURTON and Rev. I. H. GABBARD.

Mrs. SHEPHERD, the son of the late Silas and Florence MINTER Shepherd was born in Booneville May 18, 1880 and died at his home January 3. He was a retired faarmer and a member of the Booneville Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula SHEPHERD, of Booneville; two brothers, Jim Shepherd, Booneville; Andy SHEPHERD, Yakima, Wash.; four sisters, Mrs. Mattie ROSE, Mrs. Mable SEALE, Mrs. Etta CAMPBELL and Mrs. Nannie COMBS, all of Booneville.

Burial was in the Shepherd Cemetery with Congleton Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Walker WILSON, Clarence DUFF, Claude DUFF, Willard COMBS, Tilman GREEN, Charlie ROSE and Ed ROSE.
