Answer.  I am married - I married America ANDERSON

Second.  When, where, and by whom were you married?
Answer.  On the 20th day of Sept. 1868, At James WILLIAMS in Owsley County Ky by J.W. BAKER. J.P.O.C.

Third.  What record of marriage exists?
Answer.  The Marriage L-ces return of officers Certificate found in the Owsley County Court Clerk's Office of Booneville, Ky.

Fourth.  Were you previously married?  If so, please state the name of your former wife and the date and place of her death or divorce.
Answer.  Never was married previsusly to the marriage above mentioned.

Fifth.  Have you any children living?  If so, please state their names and the dates of their birth.
Answer.  My children are as follows - Ameredith COMBS born April 25th 1872, Nancy Jane, June 24th 1875, Samuel - born Feby 27th 187-, James Preston born April 16th 1881- Mary E. born November 16th, 1885, & Isabelle, born March 14th 1894
