Todd County Kentucky Will Book E. 1840-1844 pg. 116 In the name of God Amen I George Gibson of Todd County and State of Kentucky being weak in body but of a sound memory and understanding & knowing the certainty of death & being desirous to settle all my affairs pertaining to this would in peace with God & Amen sign seal & publish this my last Will & testament. First I allot and give to my wife Abagail Gibson all my land during her natural life Secondly I give to my above named wife all my house hold and Kitchen furniture Thirdly I give to my above named wife all my money and live stock during her natural life and after her death i Will & Bequeath to my daughter Sally forty dollars & my daughter Catharine thirty dollars & my daughter Mehalah two dollars & 50 s my granddaughter Mary Finley one dollar & 50 my daughter Elizabeth Croly two dollars & 50 & the children of my daughter Ann Edwards five dollars & I Will and Bequeath to my son Smith Gibson and his heirs at the death of his mother all the balance of the above named property & lastly I appoint Henry Gibson and J.T.
