    In the late 1760's a Micajah Casey is recorded on the Dobbs County tax rolls. The 1790 census placed him in Wayne County. He and his Wife, Sarah ?, raised eight children in that county.     I am looking for information on Olivia Howell, she donated the land that Stoney Creek Church is built on. My grandfather, her son,name is Redden Howell, he married Peggy (Fanny) Davis, daughter of Charles Robert Davis and Polly Davis. Olivia Howell is buried at Stoney Creek cemetary.     Nathan Snipes- I am seeking info on Nathan Snipes, my gggf who was born some time around 1830-35, possibly in Johnston Co. He was married twice, once to Polly Pearce, who died in childbirth. They had one child, William. He later married Martha Strickland and had 7 other children, including my ggf, Elija Thomas Snipes. Later moved to Wayne Co. where he died in early 1900's. I am specifically interested in the parents of Nathan Snipes.

    I'm trying to trace my Reaves family tree. My oldest known ancestor is James Stephen REAVES Sr. who was born January 10, 1838 in Goldsborough, NC, died July 1, 1910 in Coalgate, Ok. I have no information on his parents, except the family tradition that his father came from Germany and his mother came from Denmak. I would appreciate any information anyone can give me on his parents or his siblings, if any. James Stephen Reaves Sr. married Bille Ried BARN. Their only known child was George Columbus Reaves, born Januray 12,1890; died February 12, 1940, I assume there must have been a male child named James Stephen Reaves Jr., but I have no information on him.     1807 Henry Dinkins and Polly Price Ancestors?? My family records show Henry Dinkins of Wayne Cty, NC married Polly Price. Henry was born about 1807. NC Saletha Penington, age 31, b NC Charrity Hatcher, age 35, b. NC Sarah Hatcher, age 5, b. NC My Bryant ancestors came from somewhere in NC and settled before 1835 in Sevier Co. TN. Several coincidences in the above census record spark my interest. First, the fairly unusual name Saletha is also used in my Bryant line. Second, my Bryants married Pennington and Hatchers in TN.     I am researching the family of Ezekiel and Elizabeth Watson. Ezekiel was born in Wayne Co. about 1795. Cannot find any info on who his parents were. I have found out that they moved to Stokes Co where their first child Thomas W. was born. They had two more children born in NC James W. and John Watson. Ezekiel moved his family to Newton Co GA around 1837. I have verified this from census and birth records. Their remaining children, Sarah Jane, Mary Ann, Nancy J. and William Jackson were all born in GA. Would appreciate any help that could be given on this one. Thanks

    I am looking for info on relatives to Rome "Romulus" Thompson. Rome was born to Harry Thomson and Milly Collins in Johnston County June, 1848. Harry and Milly Collins were married in Johnston County March 2, 1835 and the bondsman was Lewis Thomson. Rome married Ursula Jernigan in Wayne County July 16, 1872. Rome died in Duplin County January 18, 1929.
