I am a decendent of Thomas Sasser b. 11/23/1869, in Wayne Co. NC. Married Flora Lee Woodard of Wilson, NC. Moved to Waycross, GA in 1901. Both are buried in Waycross. Looking for information on the family of Littleton A. Hunt (c.1832) and his first wife, Elmina (Elmira, Elvina) Horne (c. 1843), married about 1861, had 4 known children: Thomas J. Hunt (c. 1863); Charles Henry Hunt, 1867 (my direct line); Robert Lee Hunt, 1868; Dora F. Hunt (1871). This family later moved to Wilson and Nash County, NC, but I believe that most of the children were born in Wayne County. Interested in hearing from and sharing information with any descendants of this family. Littleton was married a second time in 1874 in Nahunta to Mattie Gardner.
Does anyone have any information on Needham Brown. He was born in Johnston County, and moved to Wayne County in 1850. He was married to Edith Roberts. They had three children. Martha Brown Bass, Simon Brown, and Barney Malcome Brown,(my great-grand father.

I am attempting to locate information on a (Stanton Cox) and (Issac Cox) (both are buried at Quaker Neck, NC)whom I beleive to be my great great grandfather and ggg grandfather repectively. Louisa Fulghum Dinkins b. abt 1850 had two children; male(unknown) b. abt. 1865 a Bastardy Bond was issued against a William Hemby Bailey in September 1865 and Dora Lilias Dinkins Peedin, a daughter born in 1874 died in 1940 and married to an Isaac Peedin in 1910; Louisa's parents were Rebecca Fulghum b. 1829 m. Jul 06,1851 and John Dinkins b. 1831. Rebecca's parents were John Fulghum b. 1798 and Sarah Fulghum b. 1798. John Dinkins's parents were George Dinkins b. 1800 and Charlotte Dinkins b. 1810. I would like to add this one. Edward House, my cousin, was born about 1908 and died in 1960. To my knowledge, he served well as a teacher at Goldsboro, North Carolina's Dillard High School. He leaves behind a wife Cleo Peeples House; four grown children: Gloria House Hull who died in 1971; Hugh House, Charles House who died in 1998?; and James House, who currently lives in the state of Maryland. Just a hint of the House family.

He was married to Jemima POWELL/HALL April 30, 1777, at the Center MM (Quaker), Guilford Co. NC. They had the following children who may have been born in Wayne Co.: Elizabeth b Feb 20, 1780; Ransom b. July 12, 1782; Demsey b. May 5, 1784; Eli b. I am looking for Wright Taylor. He married Patience -- dont no her last name. She died in 1877 & Wright some time from 1850 to 1860 -- the census tells that.
