           was started by its present editor, who has been in charge since then.
           But with this week there is a change in ownership, Charles Nunnally

               The Monroe News.  With this issue, The Monroe News takes the news-
           paper field in Monroe and consolidating The Monroe Republican and the
           Looking Glass ...not wishing to continue the paper under either of the
           former names, we have decided to call the papers The Monroe News -
           Chas Nunnally. (In The Monroe News Jan. 1, 1920, pg. 2:1).
               The News changes. On the first of the week, the ownership of
           The Monroe News changed from Mr. Chas. Nunnally to Chas Frank Rhine,
