TABLE OF CONTENTS
NEBRASKA
CENSUS, 1855, RICHARDSON COUNTY.
The Census
of 1855 did not include the Half Breed Tract which was mostly in
Richardson County. The work seems to have been done rather
carelessly; some residents of Richardson County are listed in
Pawnee County, and the Christian names and initials are often
incorrect. The enumeration was signed under oath, October 10,
1855, by James D. White.
