This was originally the Fredenburgh farm. After marriage of Maria
Fredenburgh to William P. Vosburgh (son of Peter Isaac Vosburgh) it was
known as the Vosburgh Farm. I was born on the first floor
room left of the doorway. (my mother & grandmother were born there
also). House was second house of farm and was built in 1798.
Land was bought by the Fredenburghs from the Indians. (Graves back
of old barn site)"

d 24 June 1827 buried Chatham Union Cemetery.
Blacksmith
Captain in Rev. War served as Pvt.& Sgt Van Alstyn's (7th)Regmt
Albany County Militia. (Note to self-I don't think there is a RW marker
on this grave).
Lived in Middleboro, Kinderhook/Chatham, NY settled on father's
homestead in Middleboro. later removed to Kinderhook.
