Jacob Fisher was born Jan. 15, 1786 and married Sarah Craft, who was born May 29, 1785, on Oct. 6, 1805. Their ch. were: Elizabeth, born Oct. 17,1806, Rebecca, born Oct. 16, 1810, Samuel, born June 2, 1812, David C., born April 18, 1814, and Lidda, born July 3, 1815. All of these children were born in Fayette County, Penn. Sarah Craft Fisher died Jan. 6, 1818 and Jacob Fisher married Eleanor ? who was born in 1783 in Penn. This couple had a daughter, Mary M. Fisher, born Dec.22, 1826 in Fayette County, Penn. This couple moved to Monroe Township, Guernsey County Ohio before 1828, where Jacob died April 10, 1848 and he and Eleanor are buried at Irish Ridge Cemetery.
