The photo at the right shows Hans Weaver, Jr., born 1816. Hans was born in Ireland but his father, Hans Sr. migrated to Guernsey Co. about 1820. There, another son was born, John C. Weaver (1821-1897). Hans Weaver, Jr. later migrated to Oregon by wagon train and arrived in August, 1853.

We also have two letters from 1834, one written to Ireland by Hans, Sr. and one written from Ireland. Both include a lot of information about individuals.
