Mrs. Joanna Heil, 88, widow of the late Judge Henry Heil, died Saturday following a long illness.

She was a native of La Grande, Oregon but had resided here many years.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Ochs Funeral Home with the Rev. Orrin Thayer of the Orleans Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.

Surviving are one son, Don Mitchell, Orleans; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Donahue of La Grande, and five grandchildren.
