Services Tuesday For Edward Streiff

Funeral services for Edward Streiff, 82, resident of 502 Spring St., who died Friday, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Daniels Funeral Home under auspices of the Masonic Lodge.

Rev. Gordon Milldrum will officiate and burial takes place in Hillcrest cemetery.

Born in Illinois, he was a member of the La Grande Lodge A.F. & A.M., Hope Chapter 13 Order of Eastern Star, Baker Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Al Kader Temple of the Shrine, and La Grande Chapter of Royal Arch Masons No. 9.

Grace Streiff Dies At Age 77

Mrs. Grace C. Streiff, 77, housewife of 502 Spring St., died Saturday at her home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Daniels Funeral Home. Rev. Gordon Milldrum will officiate and burial follows in Grandview cemetery.

Born near La Grande, Mrs. Streiff had lived here all her life. She was a member of the First Christian church, Order of Eastern Star; charter member of the Ladies Firemen; the GIA of B of LE; Union Pacific Old Timers; Shrine Auxiliary and Oregon Historical Society.

Survivors are the husband, Edward Streiff, La Grande; a sister, Mrs. Joann Heil of Indiana; two nephews, Donald Mitchell, Indiana, and Gerald Spencer, Wenatchee, Wash.; two nieces, Mrs. Florence Donahue, La Grande, and Mrs. Eva Hessemer, California.
