These are obituaries that I and many others have donated. Mine were transcribed from old newspapers. I got the microfilms through interlibrary loan from the University of Oregon. There are also many others who have donated. If there is no contributor on it, it is something I have transcribed. If there is no link on the contributor's name, they have no further information about that person. It is someone extra on a copy of their families information.

Last Thursday Mrs. Dean (?) Woodell died at her home on Sandridge, after an illness from lung fever. Mrs. Woodell was aged about thirty years, and leaves a husband and a family of five children to mourn her loss. She was the daughter of Justice Collins, of Summerville, and a sister of Mrs. .N. Hamilton, wife of Union County's ex-sheriff. The remains were interred at Summerville Saturday.

We are sorry to learn that Mrs. Woodell, wife of our esteemed fellow citizen Wm. Woodell, living near Summerville, died on last Saturday, soon after having gave birth to an infant, that also passed on a head of the mother. Mrs. Woodell was a daughter of Mr. George Neville, She leaves a wide circle of friends. Mr. Woodell has the sympathy of the entire community.

 The funeral of the late Mrs. Perry Woodell, who died here at 5 o'clock Wednesday evening following a operation
for a tumor that morning, will be held at the family home on the Sandridge tomorrow at 1 o'clock and burial will
take place in the Summerville cemetery.  Rev. Archer will conduct the funeral services.

 Mrs. Woodell had been complaining for the past two months but was not seriously ill.  She was aged 46 years.
She is a Union county girl, formerly Miss Mattie Herring[Hearing], and had lived the greater part of her life around
Summerville.  She and Mr. Woodell had been married only about a year, although by a former marriage she leaves
two children to mourn her loss, and also a mother living in Wallowa.

Mrs. Alice (?) Woodell, wife of J.T. Woodell, a well known pioneer resident of Summerville precinct, died last Friday and was buried Monday. She leaves a husband and a large family of children to mourn her loss.
