Judy Pempek
Judy Pempek, 54, Athens died Saturday, Nov 11, 2006 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Athens. Father Charles Hiebl presided.
Judy was born Nov. 6, 1952, in Wausau to Alois and Maryann (Faulkes) Gajewski. She was a graduate of Wausau West High School.
She married Brian Pempek August 9, 1997. Judy was a homemaker and did childcare in her home.
Mrs. Pempek is survived by her husband Brian, Athens; her mother Maryann Gajewski, Marathon; her children Marcia (Stan) Riehle, Athens; Jenny (Carl) Literski, Athens; Crystal (Derick) Wendtland, Edgar and Brian Pempek, Athens; four sisters, Joyce (Bob) Ostrowski, Mosinee, Carol Gast, Schofield, Joann (John Fink), Wausau and Laurie (Lee) Zarling, Wausau; one brother, Rick Gajewski, Wausau.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alois, her brother Gene Gajewski and her sister Jan Gajewski.
She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
