Ayer, William (? 1878 – 02 FEB 1965)

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Myre Funeral Home for William Ayer, 87, who died Tuesday morning, February 2 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.  Death was due to old age complications.

Rev. Paul Doering, pastor of the Loyal Methodist Church officiated and burial was made in the Brighton Cemetery in Unity.

Mrs. Paul Doering, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Byron Zepplin, sand “Old Rugged Cross; and “Beyond the Sunset.”

Active pallbearers were Neil Oestrich, Frank Oestrich, Lothar Oestrich, Frank Lulloff, Frank Degenhardt and Kenneth Weyhmiller.

Out-of-town people attending the services were: Mr. and Mrs. David Vanderhoff, Mrs. Harley Christiansen, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Antone Schjoneman, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wisnosky, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ayer, Melvin Ayer, Mrs. Donald Hansen, Unity; Mrs. William Rahm, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Geisler, George Gowl, Alfred Anderson, Otto Hoeft, Art Kronberger, Louie Becherer, Greenwood; and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Weyhmiller, Schofield.
