Sather, Laura (22 NOV 1891 - 26 FEB 1965)

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Sather, resident of 202 Dahl St., Stanley, were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Stanley, with the Rev. Carl Peters officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Sather passed away at Madison General Hospital at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, 1965.

Laura Moen was born Nov. 22, 1891 at Meridian, Wis., the daughter of Eric and Karine (Torgerson) Moen. She spent her childhood in Meridian. On Dec. 9, 1917, she was united in marriage to Rudolph Sather in Eau Claire. They lived in Mondovi for three years, moving to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) for ten years. From Owen they moved to Stanley, where they have since resided. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and the mission circle.

Left to mourn are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Doris) Lampi, Highland Park, Ill.; Mrs. Otto (Irene) Osborne, Greenville, Miss.; Mrs. Henry (Karine) Hove, Madison; three sisters, Mrs. Thea Hudson, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Annette Hanson, Eau Claire; Mrs. Clara Peterson, Athens, Wis., and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, six brothers and one sister.
