Greenwood (22 May 1969)

The American Lutheran Church women will meet today (Thursday) at our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Hostesses will be Mrs. Otto Kind, Jr., Mrs. Orlando Kind and Mrs. Kenneth Hium.

The Rev. David Logue attended the northwest association executive committee planning retreat in Eau Claire, Thursday and Friday.

Four young people were confirmed during the Sunday morning service in Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Leroy Urman officiated. They were Marilee Carl, Robert Briski, Larry Briski and Bonnie Harder.

James Dean, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. James Dearth, was baptized by the Rev. Leroy Urman at Trinity Lutheran Church Sunday morning. Sponsors were Barbara and Delbert Dearth.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Warner and Lawrence Jackson attended the confirmation of their nephew, Randall Jackson at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer Sunday and were entertained at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jackson.

Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux attended the Stelmacher-Bergemann wedding at Wisconsin Rapids Saturday and were guests at the Mike Kowieski home in Auburndale that evening.

The Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid met Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Laura Limprecht.
