Drews, Lila (13 JUN 1965)

Miss Lila Louise Drews, daughter of Walter Drews and the late Mrs. Louise Drews, Colby, exchanged wedding promise with Everett Jack Revie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Revie, Abbotsford, at nuptial rites held Saturday, June 13, 1965 at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. The Rev. Harold Woodworth officiated.

Attending the bride was her sister Mrs. Dorothy Sprotte. Best man was the bride's brother, Edwin Drews.

The bride wore a ballerina length gown of pure silk over taffeta with three-quarter length sleeves, a scoop neck and full skirt, with a bow in the back and an apron in front with applique flowers and seed pearls. She wore a crown of cabbage roses and pearls with an illusion veil, and carried a bouquet of dark pink roses and stephanotis.

Mrs. Sprotte wore a blue street length dress of silk over taffeta with elbow length sleeves and a scoop neck, and a full skirt with bow in the back. She carried a bouquet of daisies.

Music during the ceremony was provided by Mrs. L. Priem, organist, who played "Song of Ruth."

The new Mrs. Revie is a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, and the groom works as a heavy equipment operator. They will be making their home in Milwaukee. A winter wedding trip to Mexico is planned.
