The oldest existing building in the
Bradford historic district is the Bliss Farmhouse The farmhouse was
built probably in 1777 by Ellis Bliss. It is a simple 1-1/2-story,
clapboarded, gable-roofed house with a center chimney.

The former Bliss Hotel is one of four
nineteenth century frame buildings in Bradford. It is a clapboarded,
2.5-story, Greek Revival building dating from 1806. Its main elevation
is distinguished by a 2.5-story portico with balcony "surmounted by
a pedimented gable".
