Robert Alonzo Bliss,
farmer of Monclova, Lucas County, Ohio was born July 24, 1841. He
married Lovina Luce on October 10, 1869. The son of Perez Answorth
Bliss (#3593), laborer, and Angelina Matilda Burdo or Bordeaux of Monclova,
Robert enlisted for service in the Civil War December 11, 1863. He
mustered out at Camp Chase, Ohio on July 13, 1865 as a Union Army private.
Perez Bliss's parents are William Bliss (#1560), shoemaker, and Annie
Potter of Canterbury, Connecticut. |
