| Camilla Bliss was born December
7th. 1809 in Binghamton, NY and died January 15, 1888 in Sullivan County,
PA. She was the daughter of Charles (#1303) of Hartwick and Binghamton, NY
and Abigail Rowley.
George Whitefield Potter, her husband, was born July 9, 1806 in Hartwick, Otsego County, N.Y. He died December 6th. 1876 in Forksville, Pennsylvania. They arrived in Towanda, Bradford County, PA from New York at about the same time as Philip P. Bliss. George W. Potter was a farmer and circuit preacher. Camilla and George later moved to Forksville, Sullivan County, PA, just a short distance from Towanda. George died in Forksville. Camilla lived with her sons, Daniel Wellington Potter and George Gilbert Potter, until her death. |
