Edward M. Tucker was the son of John and Lydia (Farwell) Tucker and was born in Troupsburg, N. Y. He was married to Ester M. Perry at the Presbt.-Parsonage in Jasper, Steuben Co., N. Y. They resided in Woodhull, Steuben Co., N. Y. 1862-1871, then in Osceolo, Tioga Co., Pa., 1871-1872. They were in Chutham, Tioga Co., Pa. from 1872. In 1877 he moved to Westfield. Formed the Farmers & Traders Bank with partner Morgan Seely.
