DODD / FOREMAN / HALL / HIGHFIELD / MILLER / MUELLER / STEWART
I'm researching my mother family that has deep roots in Crawford Co. My mother, Elizabeth MILLER, was born in English. I'm researching her maternal and paternal lines. Her mother Ruth STEWART MILLER (HALL) was the daughter of Rella STEWART who married a HALL ( I don't know his FIRST name). She was also born in English. She is buried in the Stewart cemetery and any information on the location of this would be great. Her siblings are Charles STEWART who married Winifred (?), Ella, (who married Ira FOREMAN of St. Louis), and I think she had numerous sisters: Stella, Nella and Della. (I may have forgotten one). Their father is James Rutherford Columbus STEWART, who served in the civil war as drummer boy. My mother's paternal side is also from English. Her father was Forrest Edward MILLER, and his siblings are Charles Frederick MILLER (Chalky), Minnie Gay MILLER, Farris MILLER and May Mary who married Charles Samuel DODD. Their parents are Charles Frederick MUELLER (I believe a name change occurred at this point) and he married Elizabeth HIGHFIELD. Any information on any of these people and their relatives would be great.

BROWN / MASON / WILSON / WILLIAMS
My name is Larry BROWN and I live in Anderson, IN. I am trying to look up my family from Crawford County. I have a lot of information from the 1820 until present on the BROWNs but I am stuck in Crawford County. I know that my great grandfather Elisha Martin BROWN was born in Crawford Co. on 5-15-1860 and his wife Mary Jane WILSON (BROWN) was born 3-18-69 but not sure where. Elisha was the second child of Alford BROWN and Nancy MASON. I think Alford was born in Tennessee but Nancy MASON was probably from Crawford Co. Alford's dad was William BROWN was from Tenessee but don't know where he was born. William's wife was Lozena WILLIAMS from Scotland. I have a relation here who is still alive, is 85 years old, and who has a good memory. I can get more info on Alford's kids James, Henry J. (wife Ida), John A. (wife Eliza), America (husband William WILSON) and America's daughter, Minnie whom I have been talking with. I want to start with the BROWN line first so any help will be appreciated.
