RUXTON
Mrs. D. Gill (Thurza) RUXTON -- The Iola Register, June 27, 1964
Mrs.
Thurza RUXTON, 82, who lived nearly her entire life in Allen county, died this
morning at a hospital in Rocky ford, Colo.
Born
Jan. 31, 1882 at LaHarpe, Mrs. RUXTON was the daughter of Henry and Sara
BUSLEY. She lived in Allen county her entire life until a year ago when she
went to Rocky Ford, Colo., to live with her son, Wallace and family.
On
Nov. 24, 1910, she married D. Gill RUXTON, who died Jan 12, 1963. she was a
member of the LaHarpe Methodist church and later the Mildred Methodist church.
Survivors
include two sons, Harlan RUXTON of Iola, Wallace of Rocky Ford, Colo; a sister
Mrs. Charles WRAY of Iola; two brothers, George Busley of Iola and Albert of
Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral
services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mildred Methodist Church with
the Rev. William CLARK officiating. Burial will be at the Mildred Fairview
Cemetery. The Waugh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
