Sullivan, William F. Iola Register, January 9, 1962
William F. Sullivan, 77, a former resident of Moran, died yesterday at the
M.K. and T. Hospital, Parsons.
Born in Missouri, Mr. Sullivan was employed most of his adult life by the Katy Railroad, making his home in Moran for many years. He moved to Parsons following his retirement. He was a member of the Shrine at Pittsburg, the Scottish rite, Fort Scott, and Blue Lodge. Parsons, and the Christian Church, Moran.
He leaves his wife, Mary, of the home; three daughter, Mrs., Gertrude Williams, Iola; Mrs. Opal Houk, Moran, and Mrs. Geneva Wilter, Pittsburg: one son, Robert Sullivan, Kansas City, Kan., 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. Jean Minnich at 2 p.m. Friday in the Moran Christian Church. Burial will be at the Moran Cemetery.
