This photograph belonged to Nellie Grace Taylor
(1900-1984), who was born and married in Todd County. Her father,
George Milton "Milt" Taylor, was born and died in Todd County. (A violent
death according to family stories) Nellie married Finis Oliver Shelton
, born in 1894 Todd; his father William Taylor Shelton, known as Blacksmith
Bill, in Clifty, in Todd.

Taylor and Finis Oliver Shelton leads to strong possiblitly that
the man pictured on the right is father of Finis Shelton- William Taylor
Shelton, known as Bill the blacksmith. Born in 1866 and would have
been 20 years old at time of picture. Checking for siblings of William
Taylor Shelton and the person pictured on the left is possibly William's
brother Albert S. Shelton ,
born 1869, and would have been 17 years old
at time of picture.
