Archibald "Arch" White

Archibald "Arch" White (22 Jul 1844-17 Feb 1918) , son of Martin White (ca. 1812-after 1881) and Elizabeth Frederick (ca.1813- after 1881). Archie married Anna Manora Sad Caroline View Owen (12 Dec 1845--23 Sep 1920) ,11 Sep 1868.
Arch and Manora are buried in Bennett Cemetery, Todd County, Kentucky.
The picture was made about 1907. Archibald and Manora are seated in front.
Their children from left to right are Idella White Hadden, Emma Frances White Cowherd, Callie White Gibbs, Leonard Marshall White, Verde"Bert" Virginia Ruth White, Gibbs, Myrtle "Mert" Ann Robertson White Sawyer,Berthia Lou Emma White Utley, Gertrude Eliza  White Cole, and Sarah Minnie Florence White Whitman Harp.
The oldest child was Louella Elizabeth Jane White Whitman, who died in 1900.

buried at Bennett Cem. The child is Herschel Belcher, born ca. 1912, her son by first marriage.
Woman on left is Nannie Lee Gibbs Sawyer, daughter of Ivery Ox Gibbs and Callie White Gibbs, born 5 Jun 1905 in Todd County, died 9
Nov 1943.  The little boy on her left is George Thomas Sawyer, born 2 May 1930, died 9 Mar 1999.The boy on her right is John Griffin Sawyer,born 27 Feb 1927 and the little girl is Mary Ellen Sawyer, born 28 Feb 1932, died 1 Sept 1972
  The woman on the right is Lily Blanche Clark Sawyer, daughter of Marion Francis "Doc" Clark and Mary Frances "Polly Fannie" 
White(sister to Archibald White), born 12 Oct 1883 in Todd County, died 9 Jan 1978.

Left to right: Roy Lonzo Gibbs born 10 Sep 1900, died 7 Jan 1966. Lucian Edwin Gibbs, born 3 Aug 1907 died 1 Jul 1952, sons of
Ivery Ox Gibbs and Callie White Gibbs. lived in the Pea Ridge area as boys.
