Seeking information about Jerome B. A. CARTER (b. 1860, son of Joseph
CARTER and Sarah PARKER) and his wife, Sarah McAFEE, who were originally
from Robertson County, TN. Supposed to have moved to Kentucky (probably
Todd or Logan county) in the 1880's or 1890's. Will be glad to share information
about the rest of the family who stayed behind in Tennessee. Edward
Carter , 821 East Burton Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130.
I am searching for information about the CARTER family who moved
into the Todd County area about 1880 and migrated back and
forth to Robertson County, TN for many years. Clues suggest that
two
brothers, Jerome B.A. CARTER and Flavious Joseph CARTER farmed in the
area.
Jerome died early and F.J. married his widow - Sarah E. McAFEE CARTER.
I
would appreciate any information that you might have on this family
or any
leads you might suggest. Unfortunately, our local library has
few KY
resources. F.J. CARTER was born about 1862 and died in 1914.
Thanks,
Edward Carter <ecrb@email.msn.com>
