Korth ====================================================================== DELMER GREENO Funeral services for Delmer W. Greeno, 68, of Magnet were held Monday afternoon, March 18, at Thabor Lutheran Church in Wausa. Internment was in the Magnet Cemetery. Mr. Greeno died Friday, March 15, 1996 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD. Delmer Wesley Greeno was born May 4, 1927 to Lester and Gailen (Lindblad) Greeno at Magnet. He graduated from Magnet High School in 1944. On August 22, 1948, he married Doris Meyer at Randolph. Delmer and Doris farmed by Magnet for the first five years and then he worked for Hult Construction until 1957 when they moved to Los Angeles, Calif. Delmer worked for Douglas Aircraft at this time. The family moved back to Magnet and Delmer farmed along with working for Bill Olson Construction. In 1969, farming became his only occupation. Delmer was a member of Thabor Lutheran Church where he served on Church Council and numerous committees for many years. He and Doris were chairmen of the Magnet Centennial celebration in 1993. He is survived by his wife, one son and wife Warren and Beth of Loveland, Colo., two daughters and their husbands, Linda and Kieth Folck of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Theresa and Gene Korth of Magnet and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Arnold Greeno.
