The Sunny Side Cemetery is located in SE 1/4 of 17-6-7, Nemaha Township, Gage County, Nebraska. The land on which the cemetery lies was deeded to the Sunnyside Cemetery Association on January 15, 1894 by Isaac & Eliza Naylor. There are 46 known individuals buried in this cemetery. Sunnyside was classified as an abandoned cemetery in Gage County on November 15, 1978 and currently Boy Scout Troop #221 is in charge of restoration.
