MINUTES OF THE NEBRASKA CONFERENCE. |
WHEREAS, The Woman's Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church has been organized to meet a specific want felt in our missionary operations; and
WHEREAS, This Society is publishing a valuable journal, known as The Heathen Woman's Friend, to aid them in their noble work. Therefore
Resolved, 1. That we heartily approve of the objects and organization of this Society and welcome it as an adjunct of great power and utility to our General Missionary Work.
2. That we will cheerfully co-operate with the officers and laborers of this Society, and invite their Secretary to organize auxillary (sic) societies in the different charges of our Conference.
3. That we give our hearty sanction to, and will aid in the circulation of The Heathen Woman's Friend.
4. That these resolutions be published in the minutes of the Conference.
