justice = justice of the peace
mfr = manufacturer
mgr = manager
prop = proprietor

sta, tel, and ex agt. = station, telegraph & express agent
Notes:
Names appear as LAST name followed by given name without any punctuation between them.
The term "Jr" is often given as "jr".
Some business names are given - particularly banks, hotels and newspapers. In other cases, the type of business is stated without specifics of the business name.
Spellings are not consistent. "harness maker" & "wagon maker" also occur as single words - run together.
