Has been president, secretary and treasurer of Thurston county fair association, on board of education of Walthill for fifteen years, and member of legislature in 1927 and 1929. AARON MANASSES McMILLAN (Republican). Ninth district. Born at Cotton Plant, Arkansas, November 3, 1895. Settled in Nebraska in 1922. Married on November 8. 1919 to Willena Cooper of Fort Worth, Texas; two children. His ancestors were taken from Africa to Haiti in 1568 by Sir John Hawkins and Sir Francis Drake, slave traders, and came to the United States in 1870. Mr. McMillan graduated from Cotton Plant academy in 1915, from Bishop college in 1919, and from Meharry medical college in 1923. For the past five years has practiced dentistry in Omaha.
