FOR PUBLICATION

   THE NEBRASKA GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY will be glad to consider for Publication in the Nebraska and Midwest Genealogical Record

    FIRST. Manuscript genealogical records of family lines including record of the original settler in America and the first five succeeding generations of his descendants, provided such material has not been completely published elsewhere, or where such material is a correction of matter previously published. References to printed authorities, giving volume and page should when possible accompany such material.

    SECOND. Manuscript genealogical records of the last four or five generations, accompanied by a transcription of Bible records or tombstone inscriptions to substantiate the dates of birth, death and marriage.

    THIRD. Verified church records including vital records of births, baptisms, marriages, deaths and burials.

    FOURTH. Verified transcriptions of old burying ground inscriptions.

    FIFTH. Verified transcriptions of old wills, provided they have not previously published elsewhere.

    SIXTH. Transcriptions of Bible records of single families prior to 1850.

   The Genealogical Society met July 24, 1925, for luncheon at the Chamber of Commerce. In the absence of the president, Mrs. Rush, the corresponding secretary called the meeting to order, and Mrs. Samuel Avery was elected temporary chairman. Mrs. Crownover was authorized to print in the October number of The Record the index of the past three years.

   Members are requested to bring to the October meeting interesting old records or curios and explain the same. Miss Katherine Green was elected chairman of the finance committee. A program followed the business meeting.

   CHARLES KINGSBURY3 CALHOUN (William Barron,2 Andrew1), b. March 30, 1844, married June 21, 1876, at Springfield, Mass., Mary W. Morris. They were married by the Rev. Simeon Howard Calhoun. Children:

   SIMEON HOWARD3 CALHOUN (Charles,2 Andrew1), born May 27, 1834, married Aug. 30, 1864, at Nebraska City, Nebr., Matilda McMechan, born Jan. 26, 1845, at Glasgow, Howard county, Mo. Her mother was a Ballentine. Children:

1 John Charles4 Calhoun, b. July 23, 1865.
2 Annie4 Calhoun, b. May 9, 1867; m. Jan. 25, 1888, at Nebraska City, James H. Clarke, who d. April 23, 1888, at   Arkansas City, Kansas.
3 Howard4 Calhoun, b. May 23, 1869: d. Dec. 22, 1902, Denver, Col.
4 Alexander McConnell4 Calhoun, b. May 1, 1871.
  All the above children were born in Nebraska City, Nebraska.

   MARIA3 CALHOUN (Andrew Hamilton,2 Andrew1), daughter of Andrew Hamilton2 Calhoun and his first wife, Maria Yates; born March 21, 1826, married Sept. 16, 1851, at Oswego, N. Y., Robert Norris Brown, born May 28, 1821, Brownville, N. Y., died in Europe, 1887.

   ANDREW3 CALHOUN (Andrew Hamilton,2 Andrew1), son of Andrew Hamilton2 Calhoun and his second wife, Catherine Dickie; born March 16, 1851, married July 17, 1876, at Brooklyn, N.Y., M. Grace Brooks. They were married by the Rev. E. P. Ingersol, of Brooklyn. Children:

1 Maude Hamilton4 Calhoun, b. 1877, Brooklyn, N. Y.

3 Kitty4 Calhoun

   CATHERINE3 CALHOUN (Andrew Hamilton,2 Andrew1), born Sept. 17, 1854, daughter of Andrew Hamilton2 Calhoun and his second wife, Catherine Dickie, married Feb. 21, 1881, Robert Morrow. Mrs. Morrow died Feb. 18, 1882, in Brooklyn, N.Y. Mr. Morrow was killed on a railroad, six months after the death of his wife. Their infant son died nine months after the death of the mother.

   HARRIET MALVINA3 CALHOUN (Henry,2 Andrew1), born May 5, 1827, married April 3, 1851, New York City, Michael Allison, born June 22, 1809, New York City, died April 5, 1876, at Tappan, N. Y. They were married by the Rev. Gardner Spring, D. D. Harriet Malvina (Calhoun) Allison died Nov. 25, 1899, Beatrice, Nebraska, and is buried there. Children:

   WALTER HENRY3 CALHOUN (Henry,2 Andrew1), born Feb. 20, 1831, married Feb. 24, 1857, New York City, Estelle A. Cropsey, born Sept. 1, 1832, Jamaica, L. I. (N. Y.); died Oct. 15, 1870, New York City. She was the daughter of Jasper F. and Henrietta (Dowling) Cropsey. Their child:

Resided in Watertown, Mass., 1631-4; Wethersfield, Conn., 1635; New Haven, Conn., 1639; Saybrook, L. I., N. Y., 1662; Huntington, L. I., N. Y., 1666. Died October, 1667. Administration of estate, Oct. 19, 1668. Children by first wife:

1 Obadiah,2 m. Mary, widow of John Miller, Stamford, Conn.: died Aug. 25, 1657.
2 Capt. Nathaniel,2 m. first Oct., 1649, Mary Turney; m. second, 1674, Elizabeth (Burr) (Olmstead) Gilbert. Died Dec. 19,1675.

   OBADIAH2 SEELEY (Robert1) married Mary (Angel) Miller, widow of John Miller. Resided in Stamford, Conn. Died Aug. 25, 1657.a Inventory of estate Dec. 24, 1665; distribution of estate Sept. 3, 1666. Children:
