DAVID W. GILBERT.
David W. Gilbert, Representative from the Tenth District, Omaha, Douglas county, is a native of England, where he was born September 18, 1866. When he was thirteen years of age, with his parents, he came to America and settled in Omaha. He received his education in the Omaha public schools and chose for his profession that of mechanical engineer. For some years past he has been connected with the mechanical department of the Omaha Street Railway Co. He has been active as a worker in the Republican ranks of the City of Omaha, but has never before held office.Representative Gilbert was married September 18, 1894, to Miss Ida May Angus, of Fremont, Nebraska, and has one son and one daughter. Mr. Gilbert is the chairman of the Committee on Cities and Towns during the present session.

Charles Wesley Gishwiller, Representative from the Sixty-first District, composed of Franklin county, was born in the Buckeye state--Ohio--May 16, 1861. Many years of his youth were spent in Illinois, from which state he removed to Nebraska in 1885. He received his education in the public schools of Illinois and in the broad school of experience. He was reared as a farmer's boy, and agricultural pursuits have received his life's attention. He has never been much of an office-seeker. In fact, held none but minor offices until two years ago when he was elected to the Legislature, and was re-elected to the present one. Both times he was nominated by the Democratic and Populist parties, generally known as the Fusionists. Representative Gishwiller was married in 1882, in Illinois, to Miss Sarah Stevens, and has two sons and one daughter. His post-office address is Wilcox, Nebraska.
ELLIS E. GOOD.
Ellis E. Good, Representative from the Fifth District, composed of Nemaha and Johnson counties, is Nebraska born, his birth-place being Nemaha county, and the date of his birth May 20, 1863. His parents were among the Nebraska pioneers, locating in Nemaha county in 1856. Until he was eighteen years of age he worked on the home farm, attending school during the winter months. He entered the State Normal School at Peru, and was graduated from that institution in 1887. He then taught country school for one year and then became principal of the public schools at Elmwood, Nebraska, a position he held for three years. For four years he was superintendent of schools at Valentine, Nebraska. In 1896, he located at Peru, where he engaged in the banking business, in which he still continues. He is the cashier of the Citizens State Bank, of which his father, Jacob Good, is president. Mr. Good is the owner of farming lands in his home county and residence properties in Peru. Representative Good is a Republican. He was married to Ida E. Church on September 12, 1889.
