"Agriculture"
THE
Agriculture Club celebrated its third anniversary
on March 6, 1912. It was organized for the purpose
of bringing agricultural students together socially
and discussing subjects of general interest. A
meeting is held every two weeks, at which the Club
is addressed by some prominent man in or outside of
the college. During this short time of its
existence, its membership has more than doubled
each year, and now it occupies the highest position
of influence in the Agricultural College.
Last year the Club took over the
publication of Agriculture, which was formerly
published by the Faculty. Under the present
management the paper has been a great success and
ranks with the best publications of its kind. This
year the Club voted to present medals to the men
representing the College on judging teams, in order
to create an incentive for better work.
At the present rate of
advancement the Club promises to accomplish much in
the future for the cause of Agriculture.
