Board of Regents
N
the very nature of things your Regents may not come in
close and personal contact with the students in so
numerous a family, but we nevertheless wish them to
know that we are more conscious day by day of the
growth of our University in quality as well as
quantity and we are happy in the accomplishment, year
by year, of a broader culture, physically,
intellectually, morally and spiritually. The students
are the interpreters to the world of Nebraska's
standards. "They are the substance of things hoped for
and the evidence of things not seen." It is their
culture that is the index of our progress and we are
proud to accept it as a worthy accomplishment.
