Alpha Zeta

LetterLPHA ZETA is a national honorary fraternity for men students who are regularly enrolled in an agricultural college; who stand in the upper two-fifths of their class in at least three semesters of school work; and who show promise of leadership and good character. The Nebraska chapter started the school year of 1925-26 with twelve active members but soon increased its membership to eighteen. The six newly elected men were very active in Ag College and other University activities besides attaining a very high scholarship record. At the time of the announcement of these new men a gold medal was presented to the sophomore who attained the highest scholarship during his freshman year. This was done to stimulate higher scholarship among the student body and especially among the incoming freshmen. Anton Frolik was awarded the medal this year.
